WWE Smackdown PREVIEW: Becky Lynch injured, RAW invasion, Survivor Series update

Becky Lynch injured?

Becky Lynch led a successful invasion on RAW last night as she and her Smackdown fellow superstars took out the red brand’s women’s division.

However, Lynch suffered some gruesome injuries during the brawl and left celebrating with blood pouring down her face.

According to Fightful, the Smackdown Women’s Champion may have suffered a broken nose as well as a concussion and may be sidelined ahead of her dream match against Rousey at Survivor Series.

RAW invasion?

Smackdown’s women’s division embarrassed RAW last night at the Sprint Center in Kansas City Missouri.

After the attack, RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon cranked up the pressure on Acting General Manager Baron Corbin when she told him he has a major problem to fix before this Sunday’s Pay-Per-View show.

WWE.com have been teasing a retaliation from the red brand and it is very possible that we could see another interpomotional brawl tonight.

Survivor Series turmoil

Smackdown Commissioner Shane McMahon and General Manager Paige named storied rivals Daniel Bryan and The Miz as the men’s Survivor Series team co-captains.

The two former world champion had Samoa Joe, Rey Mysterio and McMahon joining the team.

However, Team Smackdown didn’t seem like they can get along as they closed last week’s show in Manchester with a fight.

Will they be able to patch things up tonight and work together at Survivor Series against Braun Strowman, Drew McIntyre, Dolph Ziggler, Bobby Lashley and Finn Balor?

Charlotte Flair decides

Charlotte Flair was asked two weeks ago by Paige if she would be willing to lead Smackdown’s women’s Survivor Series team against RAW.

Charlotte though didn’t seem very confident in taking the role as she claimed she may not be the right woman for the job after her heartbreaking loss to Lynch at Evolution.

A spot it still open in the team as the Smackdown General Manager picked Asuka, Naomi, Carmella and Sonya Deville.

The Queen will have to decide tonight if she will fill in the last place and lead the blue brand’s women’s division against Nia Jax, Mickie James, Tamina, Natalya and Ruby Riott.

The seven-time women’s champion though raised everyone’s hopes when she took part in Smackdown’s invasion on RAW.

Usos pick team

Jimmy and Jey Uso defeated The New Day in a hard-fought battle last week to become Smackdown’s Survivor Series Tag Team captains.

The five-time tag team champions picked Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods and Big E as the first members of their squad after their impressive performance.

Who else will join the action against Team RAW’s Bobby Roode and Chad Gable, The Ascension, The B-Team, The Revival and Lucha House Party?

Ric Flair returns?

Rumours suggest Ric Flair has been spotted in St Louis and could make an appearance on Smackdown.

Flair could come in to try and give his daughter Charlotte a pep talk and convince her to become Team blue’s captain.

The 16-time world champion’s last appearance took place at Smackdown 1000 where he reformed Evolution with Triple H, Batista and Randy Orton for one night only last month.
