Raipur (Chhattisgarh) [India], July 13 (ANI): Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, who along with his cabinet will visit Ayodhya today, said that he will offer ‘Shabri Ber’ to Ram Lalla as prasad, adding that they will pray for the prosperity of the state.
“Today I am going to Ayodhya Dham with the entire cabinet to have darshan of Lord Ram. We will pray for the prosperity of Chhattisgarh. Ber is very much famous. During his (Lord Ram) canvas (exile) he ate ‘jhouthe ber’ of Mata Shabri. I am also taking ‘Shabri Ber’, Mahua flower as prasad,” Chhattisgarh CM said addressing the reporters on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Chhattisgarh Deputy CM Arun Sao said there is a lot of enthusiasm and excitement to have the darshan of Lord Ram.
“We are all going to have darshan of Lord Ram and take blessings. This opportunity has come after a wait of 500 years. That is why there is a lot of enthusiasm, and excitement to have darshan of Lord Ram. In reality also on June 25, the Constitution was murdered. For the sake of power and position Congress party and Shri Indira Gandhi imposed the Emergency. It was the darkest day of the history. It is important today to celebrate “Constitution Murder Day” for our youth also to know what happened that day,” he said.
Chhattisgarh BJP chief Kiran Singh Deo said they will pray for the prosperity of the state.
“Everyone is going. We will have the darshan of Lord Ram. We are going with devotion. We will pray for the prosperity of Chhattisgarh. I am very excited for the darshan of Ram Lalla,” Kiran Singh Deo said.
Chhattisgarh Minister Dayaldas Baghel said, “CM and all the cabinet ministers are going (to Ayodhya today) and will have darshan of Lord Ram and will seek blessings from Lord Ram.”
The ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of Shri Ram Lalla at Ayodhya was held on January 22, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi performing the rituals, led by a group of priests. Acharya Satyendra Das is the Chief Priest of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Temple, in Ayodhya.
The event saw the participation of about 8,000 invitees, including 1,500-1,600 eminent guests. (ANI)
