Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], May 24 (ANI): Former Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao on Friday made a strong attack on Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, calling him “joker” and “habitual fake news peddler” and asked why he should not be “put in jail”.
KT Rama Rao, known as KTR, accused the Congress leader of creating false narratives.
“1. Revanth manufactured a shameless Lie that my relative got a 10000 crore Covid Drug Contract 2. The same Joker created a Fake narrative of Nizam’s jewels which were under Secretariat 3. Revanth circulated Fake Video of Union Home Minister 4. Being a CM he posted a Fake Circular of OU. Why shouldn’t this Habitual Fake News Peddler be put in a Jail,” KTR said in a post on ‘X’ on Friday.
KT Rama Rao, who is the working president of Bharat Rashtra Samiti, has been attacking the Chief Minister and the ruling Congress over various issues and has alleged that it “cheated” people over its guarantees.
Last week, KTR took potshots at Revanth Reddy, saying that Congress came to power by selling false dreams to all sections of the people, especially farmers and youths.
“Revanth Reddy has promised 2 lakh jobs in one year. Five months have already passed and in the upcoming seven months, the Congress government should give two lakh jobs. You have heard the false promises of Congress. The Congress has cheated the people,” said KT Rama Rao.
“Farmers in Kamareddy and Nizam Sagar Mandal have been protesting for the last 25 days, but the government hasn’t responded yet. Not only in Kamareddy, but farmers in Nirmal, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Rajanna and Sircilla are also on the roads, protesting because the yield is not being bought by the government,” he added. (ANI)
