Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], October 26 (ANI): Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami during a review meeting held on various subjects related to the Justice Department in the Secretariat said that solid advocacy should be done in the Supreme Court and High Court in various subjects related to the state. He said that Uttarakhand is a young state.
“For the overall development of the state, we all have to move forward with a new work culture,” CM Dhami said.
The Chief Minister said that maximum use of digital means should be made to expedite the proceedings in matters related to the courts.
“It should be ensured that advocacy on various subjects related to the state is done with strength. Everyone has to work as a co-traveller in the development journey of the state. It is important for everyone to discharge their tasks and responsibilities with full dedication,” he said.
He said that innovation is necessary in work culture, and people should pay more attention to innovative experiments, moving away from tradition.
The Chief Minister said that regular coordination between the government and government advocates is necessary for better advocacy on various subjects related to the public interest of the state. “It is necessary to have a performance-based approach for the successful implementation of the works,” he added.
He said that there is always a possibility of improvement in any work, and special attention should be given to the solution by reducing the problems.
Earlier, preparing for the upcoming festival of lights Diwali, and Uttarakhand’s foundation day on November 9, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami directed officials to ensure there are better arrangements for cleanliness, security, and traffic across the state.
CM Dhami held a meeting in the state secretariat with various officials on Friday.
He also directed that special attention should be paid to traffic management on the festival of Diwali. “It should be ensured that people do not face any kind of problem in commuting. The fire department should make adequate arrangements of fire vehicles to prevent fire incidents on Diwali,” said CM Dhami according to a statement by the CM’s office.
The CM also highlighted in a post on X that the health department, along with the burn unit should be operational for 24 hours during the festival.
Additionally, the CM also instructed that there should be regular sampling of food items to prevent food adulteration.
“Strict action should be taken against the concerned if adulteration, spitting incidents and deficiency in quality are found in food items,” said CM Dhami.
Regarding the state’s foundation day, to be celebrated on November 9, the CM directed all District Magistrates to run a special campaign for cleanliness in all urban and rural areas of the districts. (ANI)
