Jaunpur (Uttar Pradesh) [India], October 20 (ANI): After BJP corporator Tahseen Shahid’s son Mohammad Abbas Haider got married to Pakistan-based Andleep Zahra via an online wedding ceremony, he is now seeking a visa to bring home his daughter-in-law. The wedding took place on October 18.
BJP corporator Shahid said, “I will apply for a visa to bring my daughter-in-law from Pakistan. I will try to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and request to provide a visa so that I can bring my daughter-in-law to India.”
He further said that all his relatives had participated in the virtual marriage of his son.
“My son was married to Andleep Zahra who is the daughter of Rana Yasmin Zaidi. The marriage was done on October 18 at 9 pm. In Pakistan, all their relatives had participated in the marriage. In Jaunpur my friends, staff, and my elder brother participated in the marriage,” he further said.
Due to unavilability of Visa to travel to Pakistan and the illness of the bride’s mother the marriage was conducted online.
“The bride’s mother Rana Yasmin Zaidi fell sick. We had to conduct the marriage online as we did not get a visa to travel to Pakistan. We are requesting PM Modi to ease the process of obtaining the visa,” he further said.
BJP corporator Tahseen Shahid hopes that the centre will hear his plea and allow his family to welcome their daughte-in-law home. (ANI)
