Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], July 14 (ANI): The Uttar Pradesh BJP will hold its state working committee meeting in Lucknow on Sunday morning, following the Lok Sabha polls. This is the first working committee meeting after the BJP received fewer seats than expected in the general elections.
BJP President JP Nadda will attend the meeting, which will start at 11.00 am at Lohia Auditorium and continue till 5.00 pm.
The meeting will be initiated by state president Bhupendra Chaudhary and conclude with a speech by National President JP Nadda. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will address the committee before JP Nadda.
This working committee meeting will be divided into two sessions, ending with the passage of a political proposal.
The political proposal will include discussions on the upcoming by-elections for ten seats, a review of the Lok Sabha elections, and the future roadmap following the election defeat.
All party delegates will be included in the working committee.
In addition to the National President, State President, State Organisation General Secretary, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, both Deputy Chief Ministers, all Central Ministers from Uttar Pradesh, all 33 MPs, all MLAs, and all office bearers of the organisation and the party, and all office bearers of the fronts will also be included.
The largest presence in the working committee will be the Mandal Presidents, who number more than 1,900 across the state. Along with Mandal Presidents, all District Presidents, Regional Presidents, District Incharges, office bearers of all fronts, all General Secretaries of the party, and all ministers will be included.
