New Delhi [India], June 21 (ANI): Union Health Minister JP Nadda visited various offices of Nirman Bhawan on Thursday. He visited the record room, registry room, health observatory and various divisions. He interacted with officials and staff and advised them to work with an outlook and approach that is citizen-friendly and in the public interest.
JP Nadda said, “I visited the Health Ministry, Nirman Bhawan. I went to every section and assessed the work done there. I also went to the health observatory, central registry, record room, and canteen and saw the arrangements everywhere.”
“I also interacted with all officers and got to know about the work of all divisions…I have instructed them to have a citizen-friendly approach and work with a sense of service. All officers have said that they will work as much as possible in the interest of the public,” he noted.
The Union Health Minister further suggested all officers be alert and diligent in their duties because diseases don’t announce and come.
Speaking about the continued heat wave in Delhi, Nadda said, “I also discussed the heatwave with the officials and the Central Government has issued directions to all hospitals regarding this. An advisory has been issued…I have also told officials to visit Central hospitals and centrally managed hospitals to see if separate arrangements have been made for the heatwave. We have issued an advisory for the states…I also urge the public to give special focus on a liquid diet, and have more and more water to avoid dehydration.” (ANI)
