Agartala (Tripura) [India], July 9 (ANI): Tripura Governor Indrasena Reddy visited the Srinagar Border Haat, the sole border market in the region located in the Sabroom subdivision of South Tripura District, on Tuesday.
During his visit, Governor Reddy engaged with various Indian traders, including fish vendors, dried fish merchants, and local vegetable sellers. He also interacted with the Additional District Magistrate (ADM) of Feni district in Bangladesh.
Speaking to the media, Governor Reddy expressed his admiration for the well-organized and beautiful border market. He extended his best wishes for the continued success of the Border Haat and emphasized the importance of strengthening mutual relationships between the people of India and Bangladesh.
Addressing a question regarding the damaged barbed wire fence in several areas of the market, the Governor assured that the matter would be discussed and addressed appropriately.
