Agartala (Tripura) [India], August 18 (ANI): Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Sunday visited the residence of the late teacher Abhijit Dey and assured the family members that the government would do everything to ensure justice.
Abhijit Dey, a teacher and a resident of Udaipur in the Gomati District, tragically passed away on August 10.
Speaking with the media, Dr Saha assured the family members that the government would do everything to ensure justice.
“This is really a sad incident. After I learned about the incident, I immediately directed steps to be taken. Such incidents are not acceptable. The law will take its own course of action. Arrests have also been made. This is truly a painful incident. We couldn’t imagine that something like this could happen. The investigation is underway, and the culprits will not be spared. The government will do everything to ensure justice,” he added.
Earlier today, Dr Saha, along with Finance Minister Pranajit Sinha Roy, MLA Abhishek Debroy, and others, visited the residence of the late Abhijit Dey. (ANI)
