Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], April 17 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya inspected the ‘Laghu Udyog Kendra’ in Lucknow and interacted with working women, saying that training programs are conducted regularly.
“Training programs are conducted here regularly. After training, if you want to set up a unit, then there are schemes of both the Central Government and the State Government, which provide a subsidy. Loans are also provided, and all facilities are provided for this, but due to a lack of awareness, many people are deprived of training,” Maurya said.
“This training program will be run at the divisional level, district level, tehsil level, and block level. If our youth are unemployed and want to establish employment, then the government stands with them. This is a big opportunity, and I would say that they should study the food processing policy and what kind of products can be established from that policy to increase their income and move forward in this direction,” he added.

He also inspected the Small Industries Centre in Lucknow and said that the Small Industries Centre serves as a means of women’s empowerment
“This small industries centre serves as a means of women empowerment and is regulated by NRLM (National Rural Livelihoods Mission) and SRLM (State Rural Livelihoods Mission)… A solar power plant has been established here which has significantly reduced the electricity bill from over Rs 1 lakh to Rs 35,000… This machinery can make more products, which will increase their incomes as well. Our effort is to make these women progress constantly,” Maurya said.

Meanwhile, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak inspected the Community Health Centre in Gorakhpur and held a review meeting.
“The health department of entire Gorakhpur has been reviewed. Cleanliness should be ensured in all hospitals, along with the presence of doctors on time, all medicines should be available, patients should get high-quality care in all circumstances, and the shortage of doctors should be met, for which the government has given authority to the CMO and DM,” Pathak said.

Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Adityanath will lay the foundation stone for the ‘largest’ night shelter in eastern Uttar Pradesh at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Gorakhpur on Friday (April 18), the Chief Minister’s Office said.
The upcoming shelter, designed to accommodate up to 500 individuals, will cost Rs 44 crore to build. The Power Grid Corporation of India is supporting the construction as part of its corporate social responsibility initiative. (ANI)
