New Delhi [India], August 16 (ANI): Delhi Minister and AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj said on Friday that the public demanded to meet Manish Sisodia face-to-face and wanted to ask about his well-being.
Speaking to ANI, Bharadwaj said that “The public was demanding to meet Manish Sisodia, wanted to meet him face-to-face, wanted to ask about his well-being. People are bringing their children. Children are giving flowers to Manish Sisodia and garlands. This love has never been showered on any political leader.”
Further, he said that this love of the people has shown that the people know that the case is very false and he was kept in jail for 17 months under a false case.
“The love that people have shown towards Sisodia has shown that the people know that the case is false and he was kept in jail for a false case. Arvind Kejriwal will also come out soon,” he added.
Earlier, on August 14, Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister, Manish Sisodia said that his role in the party is decided by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, and it has been decided after discussions with party leaders that he will undertake ‘padayatra’ in every assembly constituency of Delhi.
Sisodia also emphasized that he has no desire for any post.
He told ANI, “My role in the party is decided after talking to the party leaders, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal decides it. Right now, after talking to the party leaders, it has been decided that I will go among the people in every street. I will do ‘padayatras.”
He said that his aim is to provide facilities to the people of Delhi and for that, he will have to contest elections.
“In the last 17 months, my love has grown more for the people of Delhi and the country. I have no desire for any post. I have only one wish that the people of Delhi should get a good education. People should get good hospitals. The public transport system, which has improved, should be improved further. To fulfil these wishes, contesting elections is necessary, so I will contest the elections,” Sisodia said. (ANI)
