Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], June 8 (ANI): Samajwadi Party leader Dharmendra Yadav expressed gratitude to the people of the Ayodhya days after the party won the Uttar Pradesh’s Faizabad Lok Sabha seat, the BJP lost the seat where the Ayodhya Ram Mandir is located.
Dharmendra Yadav told reporters, “I thank the people ( of Ayodhya)… We are grateful to the people for the blessings they gave to the Samajwadi Party.”

According to the Election Commission of India, the Samajwadi Party (SP) won 37 seats, the BJP won 33, the Congress won 6, Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) won 2, and Aazad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram) and Apna Dal (Soneylal) won 1 seat each in the Lok Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh.
