Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh) [India], October 28 (ANI): Preparations are underway for Ayodhya’s grandest Deepotsav, as the newly built Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Temple is lit with colourful lights adding to the splendour of Lord Ram’s birth place.
Deepotsav is scheduled for October 30, a day before Diwali.
A laser show was also organised at Ram ki Paidi, Naya Ghat where Ramayan was narrated, adding to the grandeur of the celebrations.
As part of the celebrations, the Animal Husbandry Department has committed to lighting 1.5 lakh cow dung diyas during the Deepotsav. On Monday, Animal Husbandry Minister Dharampal Singh met the Chief Minister Adityanath Yogi and presented cow dung diyas and other cow-based products, marking a significant step in the state’s initiatives toward cow conservation and promotion.

Ninety-five per cent of the ghat decorations are complete. A special feature of this year’s Deepotsav is the participation of 10,000 people, with a viewing gallery under construction at Ram Ki Paidi, set to be ready before the celebrations.
