Patna (Bihar) [India], September 10 (ANI): As RJD is all set to start their ‘Yatra’ from today, Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Samrat Choudhary on Tuesday took a jibe at it and said that the Lalu Yadav family should first tell the public about the sins they have committed.
Bihar Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary says, “Whatever yatra the family of Lalu Yadav takes out, first they should tell the public about the sins they have committed.”
Former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav earlier said that his state tour starting on September 10 is focused on dialogue with party workers.
“The current yatra will focus on dialogue with party workers,” the former Bihar deputy Chief Minister said.
He further stated that he will meet the public of Bihar in November-December this year, but reflected scepticism about whether that will be through a public meeting or a Padyatra.
“We will go to every district of Bihar, first there will be dialogue with the workers; after that, in November-December, we will go on a yatra with the public of Bihar, whether it is a public meeting or a padayatra, but it will happen in November-December,” the RJD leader said.
Earlier, Jan Suraaj Chief Prashant Kishor criticised Yadav’s state tour starting on September 10, challenging him to connect with constituents on foot rather than relying on a convoy of vehicles and staged photo opportunities. He dismissed Yadav’s promises of government jobs as deceptive, citing the existing 23 lakh government employees in Bihar, which only account for 1.97 per cent of the population.
He argued that even if Yadav delivered on his promises, 98 per cent of people would still be unaffected.
Earlier on Tuesday, after BJP leader Munna Sharma was shot dead by unidentified criminals in Patna, Tejashwi Yadav took a jibe at the state government and said that crime is flourishing in Bihar under their protection.
Yadav further alleged that criminals are shooting anyone, whenever and wherever they want and NDA leaders are unaware of the increasing crime in the state.Former deputy CM Yadav further slammed the state’s Chief Minister Nitish Kumar by calling him “busy” and “exhausted” and accused him of being unable to manage the state.
