Shimla (Himachal Pradesh) [India], June 21 (ANI): Himachal Pradesh Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, and Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri have expressed their condolences on the bus accident in Shimla, which killed four people.
Four people, including the driver and the conductor of a Himachal Pradesh Road and Transport Corporation (HRTC), died in the accident at Chauri Kainchi near Kudu in the Jubbal area of Shimla district.
Three other people also sustained injuries in the incident and are undergoing medical treatment at the Civil Hospital Rohru.
Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla and Chief Minister Sukhu extended their heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased and said their thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families. They also assured the victims’ families of all possible support and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
Deputy CM Mukesh Agnihotri said that after receiving information about the unfortunate incident, the local administration provided full support and relief to the affected families.
He expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the peace of the departed souls. He also directed to ensure the best possible medical care to the injured.
Meanwhile, the district administration paid an interim relief of Rs 25,000 to each family of each deceased and Rs 10,000 each to the injured ones. (ANI)
