In a post on X, CM Dhami prayed that the festival of Lord Ganesha, remover of obstacles and bestower of prosperity, brings happiness, peace, prosperity, and renewed energy into everyone’s lives.
“Remover of obstacles, bestower of prosperity, giver of accomplishments and supernatural powers, the auspicious festival of the worship of the first deity to be worshipped, Lord Ganesha, Ganesh Chaturthi, heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all of you. May this auspicious festival bring happiness, peace, prosperity, and new energy into all your lives; this is the prayer to Lord Shri Ganesha,” he wrote.

The Lalbaugcha Raja Ganapati idol has been cared for by the Kambli family for over eight decades.
Earlier in July, the Maharashtra government declared the public Ganeshotsav as the “Maharashtra State Festival.”
