New Delhi [India], July 13 (ANI): In a significant move to enhance passenger convenience, Indian Railways on Friday announced the addition of 92 new general class coaches in 46 long-distance trains.
This initiative aims to provide more comfortable and accessible travel options for passengers in the general category. Additionally, plans are in place to expand coach capacity in 22 more trains, with a focus on incorporating additional general class coaches.
This decision comes in response to the increasing demand for affordable travel options and aims to ease the travel experience for a large segment of the population. The introduction of these new coaches will significantly benefit passengers, ensuring a more comfortable and less crowded journey.
The trains that will see the addition of new coaches include:
