Panchkula (Haryana) [India], October 11 (ANI): As the BJP is set to form a historic third-term government in Haryana, BJP leader Sanjay Bhatia said on Friday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Ministers of nearby states will attend the swearing-in ceremony.
He, however, said that the date and time of the swearing-in ceremony is yet to be confirmed and the party has started preparations for the same.
Bhatia further said, “We have started our preparations. The date and time of the swearing-in ceremony is yet to be confirmed. It will be a big event and smooth arrangements will be made for the people. We have come to know that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the ceremony. Chief Ministers of nearby states and some Union ministers will also attend it.”
Earlier today, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini assured the farmers in the state saying that it is his government’s commitment to buy crops at MSP and deposit the money directly in the accounts. He also said that the Haryana government is youth welfare-oriented.
“…So far we have bought 5.73 lakh metric tonnes of paddy in the state of Haryana at MSP…and also lifted it and along with this we have also bought about 1.30 lakh metric tonnes of millet and it is our commitment that we will buy the farmer’s crop at MSP and deposit the money directly in the accounts. Today I and all our MLAs were on inspection in the mandis, we will not let any farmer face any problem…” said the Haryana Chief Minister.
Emphasizing the Haryana government’s commitment to empowering youth in the state, the Chief Minister said, “Our government is continuously employing the youth without ‘kharchi, parchi’. For the first time in Haryana, our government has instilled great confidence in the youth of Haryana… The results of 25,000 youth are ready and when we were about to declare the results, the opposition went to the court and filed an application to the Chief Election Commission that we cannot declare these results during the elections. The Election Commission took cognizance of this and issued a letter that as long as the code of conduct is in place, we will not declare these results.”
“I then announced that we would first give joining letters to 25,000 youth and after that, I would take an oath and soon, today or tomorrow, the results will be released and after that, the date of the oath will come. Our government is a youth-friendly government. It is our priority to empower them and we firmly stand by their side,” he added further.
The BJP is set to form its third successive government in Haryana with its 48 legislators in the 90-member Assembly. Three independent MLAs from Haryana, Devender Kadyan, Rajesh Joon and Savitri Jindal have also extended their support to the BJP. The Congress won 37 seats. (ANI)
