Haridwar (Uttarakhand) [India], June 14 (ANI): Emphasising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s role in advancing India across various fronts, Yog guru Baba Ramdev said on Friday that PM Modi has taken the country forward with his motto of “Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas Sabka Prayas.”
Ramdev while speaking to ANI said, “In the past decade, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has steered the nation ahead socially, economically, politically, and culturally with the inclusive motto of ‘Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas Sabka Prayas’. Despite challenges, I firmly believe he will continue to lead the country forward.”
Reacting to RSS Leader Indresh Kumar’s statement on election results, Ramdev said, “Political comments are frequent. Lord Ram belongs to everyone; this nation belongs to everyone and we are all interconnected. Creating divisions based on ideology or religious groups goes against national unity.”
Commenting on the results of the Lok Sabha elections, RSS leader Indresh Kumar in a statement earlier said, “Those who did bhakti of Lord Ram gradually became ‘arrogant’ but were stopped at 241. Those who had no faith in Ram, together were stopped at 234.”
Baba Ramdev praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and compared his personality to that of the Himalayas and said no one can stand in front of him.
“PM Narendra Modi’s leadership, policies, character and personality are so big and that is because of the austerity of years. No one can stand in front of PM Modi; his personality is like the Himalayas,” Ramdev said.
Narendra Modi took the oath as Prime Minister of India for his third successive term on Sunday at an impressive ceremony at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, which was attended by leaders from India’s neighbourhood and Indian Ocean Region.
The BJP-led NDA won a majority for the third time in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, winning 293 seats. The BJP won 240 seats on its own, in the 543-member lower house, where the majority mark stands at 272.
Notably, PM Modi is only the third leader after Jawaharlal Nehru to take the oath as PM for a third consecutive time. (ANI)
