New Delhi [India], July 8 (ANI): Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhawma on Monday participated in the Taiwan Expo 2024 held in New Delhi and expressed the state’s interest in bolstering relations and exploring new opportunities for collaboration with Taiwan.
The Chief Minister of Minister (CMO) took to its official X handle and posted about the CM’s participation in the Expo. It said, “Chief Minister Lalduhawma attended the Taiwan Expo 2024 in India, held today at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. In his speech, the Chief Minister said that Mizoram is keen to strengthen ties and explore new avenues of cooperation.”
On the sidelines of the Taiwan Expo, CM Lalduhawma also met Foxconn India Representative V Lee. The CMO in a post on X said, “Chief Minister Lalduhawma met with Foxconn India Representative, V Lee, today at New Delhi. It was discussed how Mizoram youths to work at Foxconn and Foxconn to evaluate the manufacturing base in Mizoram.”
The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), which is an Industry Partner of Taiwan Expo 2024, is being organised by The International Trade Administration, Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), and Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) from July 8-10, at Pragati Maidan.
The Expo will serve as a dynamic platform showcasing the latest innovations and technological advancements from Taiwan. Notably, 110 leading Taiwanese manufacturers will be exhibiting at the Expo across five themes: Smart Manufacturing, Smart City, Smart Lifestyle, Wellness and Green Innovations.
This Expo will also provide an opportunity to explore a diverse range of cutting-edge products and services from Taiwan.
The event stands as Taiwan’s flagship exhibition platform in India and will provide an opportunity to explore innovative solutions across various industries, including Smart Manufacturing, Smart Lifestyle, Green Innovations, Smart City, and Wellness Fiesta. (ANI)
