Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], July 30 (ANI): A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Maharashtra government and NSDC International Limited to establish a centre for skill-based certificate courses in Pune. The agreement was signed in the presence of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and aims to provide employment opportunities to the youth of the state, both domestically and internationally.
The CMO Maharashtra also took to its official X handle and posted about the signing of the MoU. It said, “An MoU was signed between the state government and NSDC International Limited in the presence of the Chief Minister Eknath Shinde for setting up a centre for skill-based certificate courses at Pune. This MoU will benefit the youth of the state to get employment opportunities in the country and abroad. NSDC International Limited Company will be provided space at Government Distance Education Tantra Niketan Sanstha in Pune for the training centre.”
Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Higher and Chief Executive Officer of NSDC International Limited Company Vedmani Tiwari, NSDC International Company Advisor Sandeep Kaura, Vice President Nitin Kapoor, concerned officers of all departments were present.
Notably, NSDC International Limited conducts skill-based courses in accordance with the employment opportunities announced by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship of the Central Government in order to provide employment opportunities to the youth of the country.
This MoU was signed with NSDC International Limited Company to conduct these courses in the state. According to this agreement, the company will provide training according to the skill requirement of manpower in different countries. In addition, the company will provide job opportunities abroad to the students.
Meanwhile, the CMO Maharashtra on its X handle also said that approval was given for seven large and ultra-large projects with an investment of Rs 81,000 crore in the state. The post said, “In the Cabinet sub-committee meeting of the Industries Department chaired by the Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, approval was given for seven large and ultra-large projects with an investment of 81 thousand crore rupees in the state. Due to this, about 20 thousand people will be directly employed in the state.”
It added, “A large amount of investment will be made in the areas of Marathwada, Vidarbha along with Konkan. Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Industries Minister Uday Samant, Chief Secretary Sujata Saunik and others were present in this meeting.” (ANI)
