James Argent allegedly ‘turned nasty’ on Gemma Collins when she unexpectedly dumped him last week.
TOWIE star Arg, 31, has been accused of calling his ex ‘an embarrassment’ and ‘a fat horrible lump’ in a series of abusive messages seen by The Sun.
After kicking her boyfriend out of her Essex home, Gemma, 38, was reportedly bombarded by fat-shaming texts saying she had ‘more rolls than Greggs,’ the newspaper alleges.

According to Dan Wootton, the messages said: ‘You are a fat joke of a woman. An absolute car crash! You’re nearly 40 f***ing years old, you embarrassment.’
In another, he said: ‘You fat horrible lump. Nasty mean woman. Who the f*** do you think you are? You’ve got more rolls than Greggs.’
Representatives for Gemma Collins, James Argent and TOWIE have been contacted by MailOnline for comment.
Out of order: Gemma is believed to have been hit by a string of ‘nasty’ messages when she kicked him out of her home
The source went on to suggest that Arg had turned ‘nasty’ after Gemma’s profile soared on ITV’s Dancing On Ice because he ‘couldn’t handle her fame’.
Their relationship seemed to hit a new low when Arg posted a clip of Gemma snoring on his social media profile, just before the finale of the reality show.
And on Monday, it was claimed that ‘humiliated’ Gemma felt like she had ‘no choice’ but to dump him.
Moving vans were then seen at her house, prompting speculation that he had been asked to leave.
Fellow TOWIE star Chloe Sims previously accused Arg of bombarding her with nasty text messages last April when she waded into their relationship.
‘Humiliated’: According to reports, the TOWIE diva, 38, decided to ends things because she was so ’embarrassed’ over the candid Instagram story post
In a revelation aired on the series in 2018, Chloe warned Gemma that Arg wasn’t ready for fatherhood, which didn’t go down well with him.
She said at the time: ‘I really don’t want to ruin Arg, but I’m gong to be honest with you, after our conversation I was bombarded with messages and calls from him digging me out.’
Arg also once faced the wrath of Lucy Mecklenburgh on The Only Way Is Essex for sending abusive messages to his ex-girlfriend Lydia Bright.
Lucy lashed out in one 2012 scene claiming to have seen texts he sent Lydia calling her a ‘sl*t’ for sleeping with someone else.

It even seem like their romance was heading for a proposal just last week, on Valentine’s Day.
Arg pulled out all the stops, with an overnight stay at The Dorchester Hotel and showering her with a designer handbag and roses.
Speaking on This Morning, after serenading her with a rendition of My Girl, he said: ‘We’ve got a room at the Dorchester hotel, her favourite, she demanded it!
‘She picked a few presents for herself,’ he explained. ‘A new bag is on way, roses and a beautiful hotel room. Oh yeah, she picked it all!’
