Pune (Maharashtra) [India], June 28 (ANI): Maharashtra Governor CP Radhakrishnan on Friday said that the consistent effort, dedication, and the establishment of clear goals are essential principles that can lead graduates to success in their professional journeys.
“When one articulates a specific objective, it is imperative to focus on that goal, engage in diligent work, and persist in the face of challenges without succumbing to discouragement. Success is assured for those who embrace this approach,” Governor Radhakrishnan said.
Speaking at the occasion, the Governor said, It is natural to get tired or disappointed in life, but don’t stop there. Every effort you make is useful for shaping your life, for achieving happiness. A happy mind gives energy and motivation for the work you do. You must make a habit of enjoying your work.
Today, many countries in the world are inviting Indian skilled manpower to meet their industry needs. Indian students should be ready to seize this opportunity. Universities in Maharashtra are being encouraged to start short-term language courses in German, French, Japanese, Mandarin, Spanish, Italian, and other languages. This will give our students a competitive advantage in the global job market, said the Governor.
Speaking about Pune City, the Governor mentioned that the city is a major hub for the automobile industry, IT, media, and micro-industries, and there are ample opportunities for the graduating students here.
Dr. S.B. Mujumdar, in his presidential address, mentioned that Symbiosis is working with the motto of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’. Students from various countries across the globe are studying at Symbiosis. For international students, Symbiosis is a home away from home.
Symbiosis International University organised “International Students Convocation Ceremony” on Friday, June 27, at 10:30 AM at Symbiosis International University, Lavale, Pune. C.P. Radhakrishnan, Governor of Maharashtra, was invited as the Chief Guest for the function. Prof.. (Dr.) S.B. Mujumdar, Founder and President, Symbiosis and Chancellor, Symbiosis International (Deemed University), presided over the function. Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar, Principal Director, Symbiosis and Pro-Chancellor, Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Dr Ramakrishnan Raman, Vice Chancellor, Symbiosis International (Deemed University), and Dr. Prashant Naranaware, Secretary to the Governor, were the other distinguished dignitaries present for the function.
At the convocation ceremony, 82 students from 22 countries were awarded degrees, and the university’s brochure was released. (ANI)
