Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], October 20 (ANI): Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy emphasised that his idea is to make Hyderabad a role model for the country during his address in the ISB Leadership Summit at the Indian School of Business (ISB) campus on Sunday.
Speaking on occasion, CM Reddy asserted to make Telangana a “trillion-dollar” economy and emphasised that the big goal is to promote India and Hyderabad as the best destinations for investments in the world.
“Hyderabad needs to be developed as a 600-billion-dollar city to achieve the goals of a trillion-dollar economy. The aim is that Hyderabad should compete with cities like New York, London, Paris, Tokyo, and Seoul and not alone with other cities in the country. The big goal is to promote India and Hyderabad as the best destinations for investments in the world. Nothing is impossible,” he said.
“My government is willing to work with ISB for two to three years. We may not offer big salaries but give good opportunities and big challenges. My idea is to make Hyderabad a role model for the country,” CM Reddy added.
CM Reddy addressed the ISB students as the “brand ambassadors” for Hyderabad, Telangana and New India.
“It is a delightful moment to meet you all at the ISB Leadership Summit. Sharing here my thoughts on the “Leadership in New India” theme chosen this year by the ISB. All the ISB students are young, intelligent, and possess exceptional leadership qualities. Courage is of utmost importance for every great leader. Apart from intelligence, skill, and hard work, luck is also important. Students should take risks to do great things. No one will achieve without taking risks. Great leaders are always ready to sacrifice. Sometimes, we lose many things in the struggle,” he said.
“Always maintain direct contact with people. Give equal respect to the poor, rich, young and old, and mingle with them as friends. We can achieve anything if we are in contact with people,” CM Reddy said.
In a post on X, CM Reddy commended the theme of the Summit “Leadership in New India” and urged students to take risks to “do great things.”
“Participated in ISB Leadership Summit in Gachibowli. It is commendable that ISB has chosen the theme “Leadership in New India” this year. I feel those who lead should have two most important qualities. Courage and sacrifice. Risks must be taken to achieve great things. The students of ISB possess extraordinary talent. Wherever you are in the world promote Hyderabad and Telangana,” the Chief Minister said. (ANI)
