New Delhi [India], June 20 (ANI): Union Health Minister JP Nadda on Thursday visited offices of his ministry in Nirman Bhawan in the national capital and interacted with the staff and officials.
He urged the staff to work with a citizen-friendly approach.
Nadda also visited the record room, registry room, health observatory, and various other divisions.
Nadda assumed charge as Minister of Health and Family Welfare in the national capital on June 11. He also held the Health portfolio in the first tenure of Prime Minister Modi.
Nadda was accompanied by Anupriya Patel and Jadhav Prataprao Ganpatrao, Ministers of State in the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry.
The 64-year-old BJP leader is also Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers.
Nadda had earlier vowed to make every effort to ensure better healthcare infrastructure and facilities.
He also expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for giving him the responsibilities of Minister of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), and Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers.
Nadda, who is also BJP president, served as the Union Health Minister in the BJP-led government from 2014-19. He is a Rajya Sabha MP. (ANI)
