‘Delhi metro‘ is back but due to lack of awareness passengers have to wait at the blue line, On Monday the capital resumed its metro services and delivered the sign of relief to thousands of passengers but due to lack of awareness about the metro many people had trouble in the morning. Metro service guidelines were issued by the Delhi government on unlocking 4.0 phase but still, people landed in trouble.
Harman Ali, who came from Varanasi, reached New Delhi and wanted to go to Greater Noida. Despite waiting for more than half-an-hour he still can’t board the train from the Rajiv Chowk station. After I asked him about the situation he said I was waiting for the metro for more than 30 minutes as I wanted to go to Greater Noida but I didn’t know what to do!
On Monday, the only yellow lane has started its service and for going Noida service is resumed. The metro has come from Huda city center and left from Rajiv chowk station at 7.40 am. The blue lane service has started as it is required.
The Delhi metro rail corporation started metro service in half manner on Monday morning and the rest will resume in a phased manner after seeing the further situation.
Most of the passengers didn’t have the full information about the line’s availability thus, it created trouble for them. Blueline service will resume from September 9 whereas magenta lane will start its services from 11 and 12 September. However, it will be a tough challenge for the Delhi government to maintain social distancing at the lifeline of Delhi metro lane.
As per DMRC Instruction, all services will resume from September 12. So, it will be challenging to control commuters for any inconvenience. However, DMRC already issued the schedule of metro trains two weeks earlier.
