Narayanpur (Chattisgarh) [India], August 30 (ANI): The three women Naxalites who were killed in an ongoing encounter with the security forces in the dense forests of Abujhmad in Narayanpur on Thursday have been identified as members of the North Bastar Division Committee and the PLGA Company number 5.
A joint team of the District Reserve Guard (DRG), Special Task Force (STF), and the Border Security Force had engaged in the operation.
As per information received from the official, a huge quantity of weapons and Naxal material including a 303 rifle and 315 bore guns have also been recovered from the spot.
Narayanpur SP Prabhat Kumar said that the information about the Naxalite movement search operation was launched today at 8 a.m. and fire was opened by the Naxalites on the police.

“We had received the information about the Naxalite movement search operation was launched today morning around 8 am and the Naxalites opened fire on the police,” he said.
Adding on, he said that during the search, the bodies of the women were recovered and a huge amount of arms were also recovered.
“During the search, bodies of three female naxalites were recovered and a huge amount of arms and ammunitions have been recovered. The rest of the information is being looked upon by the team,” Kumar added.
Further, Amber Kishor Jha, Warangal Commissioner said that Anil, a resident of Nalabelli surrendered before the Police Commissioner and has been working as the area committee member.

He further added that a reward of Rs. 4 lakh was on him which was handed over to him and requested all the people underground to come to the mainstream.

Deputy IG Kanker, KL Dhruv stated, “The possibility of many other Naxalites being killed or injured during the encounter is being investigated.
