Chennai (Tamil Nadu) [India], August 31 (ANI): Chennai police conducted raids on multiple private hostels in Potheri, near Chennai, on Saturday, seizing large quantities of cannabis, cannabis-infused chocolates, cannabis oil, etc., officials said.
According to police, 32 college students, including one woman, were detained during the raid. The detained students have been taken to a private marriage hall, where they are being questioned individually.
The raids were carried out by a team of constables from the Tambaram City Police, who confiscated the cannabis, cannabis-infused chocolates, cannabis oil, and other related materials, officials said.
The seized drugs have been stored at the Maraimalai Nagar police station, they added.
Further details are awaited. (ANI)
