Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], June 18 (ANI): Amidst the controversies surrounding the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test – Undergraduate (NEET-UG) paper leak and results, K Chandrashekhar Rao’s Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) student wing BRSV (Bharat Rashtra Samiti Vidhyarthi) on Tuesday staged a protest against the alleged NEET-UG question paper leaks and demanded the cancellation of the exam.
The protestors also demanded a prompt response from the Chief Minister of Telangana, Revanth Reddy.
Furthermore, they also demanded the intervention of the Governor of the state over the issue, as several students of Telangana are also suffering due to the NEET-UG results controversy.
Meanwhile, the police have apprehended the protestors and the BRSV leaders.
The protestors were heading towards the Raj Bhavan under the leadership of BRSV President Gellu Srinivas.

Earlier on June 13, members of the All India Democratic Students Organisation (AIDSO) held a major protest regarding the same issue in front of Bikash Bhavan in Kolkata, West Bengal while on the same day, several students were spotted protesting against the same cause at Jantar Mantar in the capital city of Delhi.
