Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], September 5 (ANI): Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLC Dasoju Sravan strongly condemned the irrational and baseless allegations made by K Kavitha against BRS leaders Harish Rao, Satish Rao, and the party.
On September 1, K Kavitha, while reacting to the Telangana government’s decision to order a CBI probe into the Kaleshwaram project, alleged that any taint on KCR’s image regarding the Kaleshwaram issue is due to BRS leaders Harish Rao and Santosh Rao, accusing them of conspiring against her and KCR. Kavitha was suspended from the party after her remarks against Harish Rao and Santosh Rao. She has also resigned from the MLC position.
While speaking to ANI, BRS MLC Dasoju Sravan said, “BRS strongly condemns the irrational, baseless allegations made by K Kavitha against our leader Harish Rao and the party. We failed to understand what was going on in the mind of Kavitha. Not sure if she is able to think deeply and make these statements, or succumbed to somebody’s pressure to talk like this.”
Sravan further said that Kavitha must realise that every word she speaks is targeting “supremo KCR”. “If Kavitha says that Harish Rao has done some kind of conspiracies or some kind of backdoor activities, you are indirectly saying that K. Chandrashekar Rao is not recognising and evaluating what Harish Rao is doing, but on the contrary, Kavitha is also aware that Harish is the backbone of the party and the only asset of the party,” he added.
Sravan, praising Harish Rao’s work in the recently held assembly meeting, said, “He defended the role of KCR in the Kaleshwaram project and exposed the misdeeds of Revanth Reddy’s government, particularly the pitfalls of the Ghose committee report. He has done a fabulous job.”
He further said that in the time when the BJP and Congress are targeting BRS and K. Chandrashekar Rao, her duty should have been to be there and to protect the party. “Instead of that, you joined the wagon to attack the BRS party. Kavitha thinks she is attacking Harish Rao, but she is actually weakening KCR,” he added.
Moreover, Sravan said that KCR is the father of K Kavitha, who gave her everything, including a political career, name, fame, and everything.
On the press conference that Kavitha held yesterday, he said, “In the press conferences that she has held, all the issues that she raised have nothing to do with people…they appear to be only personal issues or any kind of internal power-related issues that are not related to the people of Telangana.”
Sravan further added that this move will not impact the party, but rather the BRS party will be reunited and reposition itself strongly. (ANI)
