Puri (Odisha) [India], June 1 (ANI): Union Minister and BJP candidate from Sambalpur Lok Sabha constituency, Dharmendra Pradhan, expressed confidence on Saturday that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would form a government in the state and the Centre under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
After paying obeisance and offering prayers at Shri Jagannath Temple in Puri here on Saturday, Dharmendra Pradhan said, “Today was the last day of elections in the country. I have come to pay obeisance to Mahaprabhu today, and this is my good fortune.”
“We have full faith that, with the blessings of Mahaprabhu, this time a decisive and strong government will be formed in India under the leadership of PM Modi, which will take many important decisions in the coming days for the welfare of the country and our state. BJP will form the government in Odisha for the first time,” said Pradhan.
“Mahaprabhu wishes upon the welfare of the people, and Prime Minister Modi will act as a medium for it, this is our belief,” he added.
As the final phase of the Lok Sabha elections concluded today, marking the end of the world’s largest polling exercise that began on April 19, Bharatiya Janata Party National President JP Nadda on Saturday thanked the Election Commission of India and claimed that the BJP party will cross 370 seats.
The voting for the final phase of the Lok Sabha elections, which began on April 19, came to an end on Saturday.
He further said that, under the vision and guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the party fought the elections.
The BJP chief also thanked Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who held more than 180 public meetings and roadshows.

Polling for the earlier six phases of Lok Sabha elections was held on April 19, April 26, May 7, May 13, May 20, and May 25.
Assembly polls have also been held in Andhra Pradesh, Sikkim, and Arunachal Pradesh.
