Quoting multiple data from various years, Amit Malviya alleged that most killings of civilians, police, and army personnel in Manipur occurred during the rule of the Congress party. He said that the ethnic conflict in Manipur is a legacy of the Congress party.

In 2010, 220 people died and 165 people died in 2012. Forget the Third Time Fail Rahul Gandhi, did any Congress leader, including Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who was a member of Rajya Sabha from Assam, visit the strife-torn region? Balak Buddhi is simply indulging in sick tragedy tourism.”

Earlier in the day, Congress MP and Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition (LoP) Rahul Gandhi reached Imphal to meet the victims of violence at the relief camps in the state.
The Congress leader arrived at the Imphal airport earlier this afternoon to visit relief camps and will call upon Manipur Governor Anusuiya Uikey this evening.
He is scheduled to meet Governor Anusuiya Uikey, after which he will address a press conference at the Manipur Congress office later in the day.
Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi visited the Jiribam Higher Secondary School relief camp and offered support to the victims of violence there.
