New Delhi [India], May 26 (ANI): Three people died and 10 were injured after a massive fire broke out at a four-storey residential building located in the Krishna Nagar area of East Delhi on Sunday, police said.
“On May 26, information regarding a fire incident at Krishna Nagar was received. Station House Officer (SHO), along with Investigative Officer (IO) and other staff, reached the spot,” police said in a statement.
After receiving information about the fire, fire officials, along with fire tenders, reached the spot and doused the fire.
The injured were taken to the hospital with the help of an ambulance and PCR Vans.
The deceased have been identified as Promila Sadh, age 66 years, Anju Sharma age 39 years, and Keshav Sharma aged 18 years.
The injured have been identified as Sonam Sadh age 24 years, Karan Raj Bhalla age 56 years, Seema Bhalla age 54 years, Rahul Bhalla age 33 years, Rohit Bhalla age 30 years, Manish Bhalla age 25 years, Devender Sharma age 45 years, Gaurav Sharma age 41 years, Ruchika Sharma age 38 years and Diyansh age 6 years.
Fourteen two-wheelers, including two bicycles, parked in the ground floor parking were found burned.
In this incident, legal action has been taken, a case under Section 285/304A/337/427 IPC has been registered, and an investigation is being carried out. (ANI)
