Pune (Maharashtra) [India], November 7 (ANI): Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar visited Vanchit Bahujan Aaghadi (VBA) President Prakash Ambedkar at his Pune residence on Thursday to inquire about his health.
Prakash Ambedkar had been admitted to a hospital in Pune on October 31 after complaining of chest pain. He underwent an angioplasty and was discharged on November 3.
“Visited Mr. Prakashji Ambedkar, President of the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi, at his residence in Pune for a goodwill meeting. Inquired about his health and extended best wishes for a swift recovery and return to public service,” Ajit Pawar posted on X.
Many leaders have reached out to inquire about Prakash Ambedkar’s health.
Earlier this week, Republican Party of India (RPI) President and Union Minister Ramdas Athawale also inquired about Ambedkar’s health and well-being over the telephone with his family.
Ambedkar’s family reported that his health is stable, and he is currently in recovery following the angioplasty.
In the interim, VBA state president Rekha Tai Thakur is leading the party’s election campaign with the support of the Election Coordination Committee, Manifesto Committee, and Media and Research Department.
