Ranchi (Jharkhand) [India], November 4 (ANI): Accusing Jharkhand Chief Minister of “instigating the infiltration”, Union Minister Sanjay Seth said on Monday that CM Hemant Soren issued an order two and a half years ago that the police would not stop cow smugglers and it was issued to please a particular vote bank.
Speaking to ANI, Sanjay Seth said, “Who instigated the infiltration of Bangladeshi Muslims in Jharkhand? Two and a half years ago, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren issued an order that the police would not stop cow smugglers… Such orders were issued to please a particular vote bank… They instigated the infiltration of Bangladeshis…In Ranchi, Bangladeshi infiltrators are living in large numbers and are doing a lot of criminal activities.”
The BJP leader also emphasized that the BJP has resolved to drive away Bangladeshi infiltrators from Jharkhand.
Further, speaking on the Uniform Civil Code, the Union Minister said, “Union Home Minister Amit Shah has made it clear that UCC will be implemented in Jharkhand but the Tribal community will be kept out of the ambit of UCC.”
Earlier today, labelling the JMM-led coalition in Jharkhand a “Ghuspaithiya Bandhan” (infiltrators’ alliance) and “Mafia Ka Ghulam” (mafia’s slave) for allegedly supporting Bangladeshi infiltrators, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the people of Jharkhand are being forced to migrate.
Addressing a rally in Garhwa, the Prime Minister claimed that the mafia has overtaken the Hemant Soren government and a vote for the BJP will be a stroke on the “mafia system”.
“Appeasement politics has reached its pinnacle in Jharkhand where the JMM-led coalition is busy supporting Bangladeshi infiltrators. If this continues, the tribal population in Jharkhand will shrink. This is a threat to tribal society and the country. This coalition has become a ‘Gushpaithiya Bandhan’ and a ‘Mafia ka Gulam’. These (JMM-RJD-Congress) three political parties support infiltrators…They are making them settle in entire Jharkhand,” PM Modi said.
He asserted that after the BJP forms government in Jharkhand, 3 lakh government posts will be filled in a transparent manner.
PM Modi underlined BJP’s poll promise regarding new houses for the poor and said that the party guarantees there should be no poor without a house.
The Jharkhand Assembly elections will be held in two phases on November 13 and 20, with vote counting scheduled for November 23. In the 2020 Assembly election in Jharkhand, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) won 30 seats, BJP won 25 seats and Congress won 16. In 2014, the BJP won 37 seats, JMM won 19 seats and Congress only won 6 seats. (ANI)
