New Delhi [India], October 27 (ANI): Aam Aadmi Party national convener Arvind Kejriwal participated in Shobha Yatra of Shri Nagar Sen Baba in South Delhi and said his teachings inspire every section of the society to live in harmony and move forward with honesty.
Kejriwal who is gearing up for the Delhi assembly polls is continuously making public appearances and holding rallies visited the temple and later addressed the gathering on Sunday.
In a post on X, he wrote, “Today I had the privilege of participating in the huge Shobha Yatra of Shri Nagar Sen Baba organized in South Delhi. On this occasion, I took the blessings of Shri Nagar Sen Baba. Even today his teachings inspire every section of the society to live in harmony and move forward with honesty.”
Earlier, Kejriwal lashed out at the Bharatiya Janata Party over the alleged attack against him during a foot march, and challenged the BJP to contest elections against him.
AAP had alleged that Kejriwal was assaulted by “BJP goons” during a ‘padyatra’ in Vikaspuri on Friday.
Attacking the BJP, the former Delhi Chief Minister asked, if the party wanted to ‘kill’ him.
Kejriwal further said he has no greed for power. Addressing a public gathering in the national capital, Kejriwal said, “Yesterday I went to Vikaspuri and they attacked me with their goons. Do you want to kill me? If you have the courage, contest elections against me.”
“You (BJP) have governments in 22 states. I have built 500 mohalla clinics in Delhi, you should have built 5,000 clinics. I am not greedy for power. I have left the CM chair, I am not worried whether I will come back or not, I am worried that Delhi’s work should not stop.”
AAP MP Sanjay Singh, who was with Kejriwal said that the people of Delhi will take revenge for this insult of party supremo.
“The people of Delhi are continuously making Arvind Kejriwal win. BJP is nervous and they know that they cannot win in Delhi and that is why sometimes they send him to jail and yesterday they attacked him in Vikaspuri. The people of Delhi will take revenge for this insult of Arvind Kejriwal in the elections,” Singh said. (ANI)
