New Delhi [India], October 27 (ANI): A fire broke out on a Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) electric bus near Dhaula Kuan on Sunday.
According to Delhi Police, officials from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) and police investigated the DTC bus that caught fire in the Delhi Cantonment area.
The police reported that the bus conductor stated there were 10-15 passengers on board. Two people sustained injuries, while the rest were safely evacuated.
“Upon enquiry, the conductor confirmed that there were approximately 10-15 passengers on the bus. Around 5:15 pm, as the bus reached Ring Road, smoke began to fill the bus from the rear. The driver managed to extinguish the small fire with a fire extinguisher. The crime and FSL teams are at the scene for further examination. Two passengers were injured, and the others were evacuated safely,” Delhi Police stated.
