New Delhi [India], September 18: (IYDF) and Adfinity Techwave Pvt Ltd held a heartwarming aid event in Shaikh Bazar, Cuttack, Odisha. The event aimed to provide essential educational and living supplies to the children at Adruta Children’s Home, as well as bring them joy and support through interactive activities.
Organised by Adfinity Techwave Pvt Ltd’s founder, Aditya Sankar Mohapatra, the event saw the participation of 25 children.
Comprehensive Support for Children’s Learning and Daily Life
The donated supplies covered a wide range of items needed for the children’s education and daily living. This included educational supplies such as notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, pencil cases, geometry sets, and books. Food supplies like rice, pigeon peas, oil, soybeans, and biscuits were also provided. Additionally, items such as badminton rackets, shuttlecocks, chocolates, and T-shirts were donated, which not only supported their learning and daily needs but also brought joy to the children.
Active Participation of Volunteers
A group of enthusiastic volunteers played a crucial role in this event. Among them were Chetandeep Patra, Bhanu Prakash Mishra, Soumya Ranjan Das, members of the Rotaract Club Barabati in Cuttack, Shakti, Arnab Mishra, Ananya Mishra, Susam Mandal, and Kumar Arnav. These volunteers wholeheartedly engaged with the children, forming close relationships and contributing to their growth and development.
Engaging Activities: Interactive Games and Intellectual Challenges
The event began at 8 a.m. with the volunteers introducing themselves and engaging the children in interactive games to foster mutual understanding and trust. A highlight was the “Guess Who I Am” game, which showcased the children’s intelligence and allowed them to learn and have fun in a relaxed setting. Throughout the event, the children’s smiles and active participation filled the atmosphere with warmth and joy. The volunteers, through these interactive games, not only strengthened their connection with the children but also provided them with a sense of happiness and confidence.
Post-Event Reflections: Gratitude and Accomplishment
Aditya Sankar Mohapatra, speaking on behalf of IYDF and Adfinity Techwave Pvt Ltd, shared his feelings about organizing this event. “Hosting this event at Adruta Children’s Home deeply underscored the responsibilities and warmth that come with being a volunteer and organizer,” he said. “From the moment we arrived at Shaikh Bazar, I felt the responsibility to bring a positive impact on these children’s lives. Seeing their joy, especially during the intellectual games, made me realize how small efforts can leave a lasting impact on their lives.”
He added, “Providing essential educational materials, food, and some fun items reminded me of how small gestures can warm the hearts of children. The smiles and moments of interaction throughout the day filled me with immense satisfaction, emphasizing the responsibility and sense of achievement we have in giving back to society.

Preparation for Aid: In-Depth Research to Ensure Effective Assistance
Prior to this event, the IYDF and Adfinity Techwave Pvt Ltd teams conducted thorough research to understand the specific needs of the children at Adruta Children’s Home. This involved direct interaction with the staff at the home, ensuring that the donated materials met the children’s actual requirements. This detailed preparation guaranteed that each aid item would effectively support the children’s learning and daily lives. Through this research, the team not only identified the essential items needed but also better planned the donation project to enhance the children’s well-being and growth.
Looking Ahead: Continuing Dedication and Support
The success of this event showcased the steadfast commitment of IYDF and Adfinity Techwave Pvt Ltd to social responsibility. In the future, they plan to continue their partnership, organizing similar aid activities to help more children gain the support they need for learning and living. Mr. Aditya Sankar Mohapatra expressed his gratitude to the members of Rotaract Club Barabati for their support in this event and encouraged more volunteers to join the IYDF network, saying, “I sincerely thank every volunteer for their enthusiastic participation. We will continue this journey of giving back, helping more children in need.”
