Mandi (Himachal Pradesh) [India], August 22 (ANI): The BJP Himachal Pradesh held its 2024 membership drive workshop at the district office in Sundernagar, where around 350 delegates participated and were briefed on the upcoming campaign activities through two presentations.
The event was presided over by BJP State President Dr Rajeev Bindal, accompanied by state co-incharge Sanjay Tandon, Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur, State General Secretary Siddharthan, General Secretary Bihari Lal Sharma, MP and General Secretary Dr Sikander Kumar, and Trilok Kapoor.
Dr Bindal emphasised that the BJP has launched a missed call number to facilitate the membership drive, which will commence on September 1, following membership enrollment by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and National President JP Nadda.
He noted that despite having a membership of 11 to 18 crore, the BJP continues to engage in such democratic processes, distinguishing it from the 1,500 other political parties in India. The drive aims to enroll 200 members at every booth across the state.
