Ranchi (Jharkhand) [India], August 2 (ANI): Launching a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Friday said that BJP leaders have looted lands of people of Jharkhand and even murdered to build their party offices.
He made this claim while addressing the monsoon session in Jharkhand’s legislative assembly.
Citing a report as evidence, the chief minister accused the BJP of having looted the people during their rule and said, “What they have done in five years? They have looted lands to construct buildings on it. The pictures (data) are from 24 districts where the BJP has constructed its party offices.”
Soren further said that the central investigative agencies lodged him in jail for false accusations and are not arresting BJP leaders.
He further alleged, “They (BJP) have not just looted land, they have murdered people also. Not just one, they murdered people in numbers. These land robbers had put me in jail. They had put the CBI and other agencies behind me, but these agencies won’t arrest them. They should tell from where did they acquired money to build the party offices. They even have constructed party offices on government land.”
Adding to it further, Soren said, “They don’t have to do anything with the reply. Neither in the House nor outside. What should I reply to them? They (BJP) run the shop of looting and cheating, Some in Pakur while some in Jamshedpur. They have a big gang so they manage to mislead the people.”
Jharkhand CM Soren hit out at the BJP government for mishandling the country and said that from Railways to the economy, the situation in the country is worsening but the BJP is only indulging in Hindu-Muslim politics.
Taking it further, Soren stated that if BJP remains in power for long then the economic situation would be worse than in Pakistan.
Speaking in Jharkhand’s legislative assembly during the monsoon session, CM Hemant Soren said, “They ask for votes in the name of Hindu-Muslim but we all have seen what have happened in Ayodhya. People of Ayodhya have given them a tight slap and they are unable to take it. The situation in the country has worsened a lot.”
Soren further condemned the government for several major rail accidents in the nation, adding that it seems that there is competition between roads and railways for accidents.
“Accidents in Railways have become common as if it is a road accident. There has been a competition about whether there will be more accidents on railways or roads. The economy is deteriorating so much that they have to reduce the funds of the MGNREGA scheme, PM Awas Yojana Scheme and etc. The situation is such that the Rupee has fallen drastically against the US dollar. It is heading down and gradually the situation will become worse than Pakistan,” said Soren.
Jharkhand CM called BJP “traders” and accused them of selling various assets of the nation.
Hitting strongly at the BJP, Soren said, “They don’t have real issues. They just speak about demography, Hindu, Muslim, Adivasis and non-Adivasis. I saw the way they protested by selling the sand. This is their way. They are traders they will do the same as the businessmen. They have sold the whole country. They have sold railways, ports, and airports.”
Calling the BJP leaders “nalayak”, Soren said, “BJP is responsible for stopping the Sarna religious Code, OBC reservation, etc, and recruitment policy. They are such worthless that they can even sell the property of the elderly. They gave loan waivers to corporate houses but are not giving loan waivers to the farmers.”
Praising Jharkhand’s JMM government, Soren asserted, “We have given more than 1 lakh jobs in the various sectors. I, myself have given appointment letters through my own hands. They did not even build rules for appointments in 20 years which we did. They just stab in the back and don’t dare to hit from the front. They use courts and the Governor’s house to destabilize the state government. We appointed 83 percent of tribals and the local population in various jobs. How much should we count? They should keep a pen and paper with them to write. The works we have done in 5 years, they cannot even match this level in 50 years.”
Hitting out at the BJP for their remarks of JMM’s last session, Soren stated, “They say this is the last session of our government but I would like to say that this session is unstoppable.”
Taking a potshot at BJP, Soren said, “They are just like this only. They work on the concept of “Na Khaunga Na Khane Dunga”. If they don’t win, they work the mindset of stopping others from doing anything. Last Lok Sabha elections were just reflections, in Assembly elections full length mirror will be shown to them.” (ANI)
