Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], June 29 (ANI): Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Saturday said that the work is going on against the ‘Nakal Mafias’, and it is important to ensure that the state develops and the youth participate in it.
Talking to the media after the BJP’s meeting regarding jobs in Jaipur, CM Bhajan Lal said, “The expectations of the youth of Rajasthan are that the vacancies should come out. We have assured the youth that we will come with vacancies. Apart from government jobs, our youth will also be provided self-employment opportunities and through skill development, good opportunities will be provided in the industrial and labour sector.”
“It is important to ensure that our Rajasthan develops and the youth participate in it,” he added.
On being asked about the ‘Nakal Mafias’, CM Bhajan Lal said that the work is going on against mafias involved in cheating and let’s see what happens gradually.
In a post on X today, the Rajashtan CM said that today, the dreams of the youth are getting a new flight in the state.
“In line with the resolution of ‘Samartha Yuva, Vikasit Rajasthan’, I addressed the Chief Minister’s Rozgar Utsav organized in Jaipur today in the series of providing jobs and employment to the youth of the state as per their ability and qualification. In our government so far, more than 20,000 youths have been appointed to government posts in various departments; out of which, today I distributed appointment letters to about 5,000 youths and sent them best wishes for a bright future,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday arrested two more accused in the NEET-UG paper leak case.
Earlier on Thursday, the CBI arrested two people from Bihar’s Patna in connection with the alleged irregularities in the NEET-UG exam.
A senior official with the CBI confirmed the arrest of two persons identified as Manish Prakash and Ashutosh.
The official said that while the accused, Ashutosh, was arranging safe house premises for the students, the other accused, Manish, used to take the candidates to a school to ‘prepare’ them for the exam.
“Manish Prakash transported the students in his car. While the students were accommodated in Ashutosh’s house,” the CBI officer pointed out.
The National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducted the NEET-UG examination, is facing criticism over alleged irregularities. This prompted a series of protests across the country, with demonstrators and political parties demanding to disband the NTA. (ANI)
