New Delhi [India], June 13 (ANI): The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and Rail India Technical and Economic Service (RITES) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate and jointly explore consultancy assignments in India and abroad in the field of Mass Rapid Transit System.
“The MoU was officially signed by Dr Amit Kumar Jain, Director (Operations & Services), DMRC and Dr Deepak Tripathi, Director (Technical), RITES in the presence of Dr Vikas Kumar, Managing Director, DMRC and other senior officials,” DMRC said in a post on X.

As per the DMRC, this partnership aims to synergize the joint efforts of DMRC and RITES by complementing their respective strengths for the identification, securing and execution of projects in India and abroad in Operation and Maintenance related services in Metro Railway, Urban and Intercity Transit, variety of large-scale infrastructure projects.
“The collaboration between DMRC and RITES will help both organizations to work together in new projects in India and abroad with their expertise in respective fields,” DMRC added.
The Delhi Metro system efficiently connects Delhi with its neighboring satellite cities such as Noida and Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Bahadurgarh, and Ballabhgarh in Haryana, in the National Capital Region of India.
The Delhi Metro system consists of 12 colour-coded lines, serving 288 stations, and covering a total length of 392.44 kilometres, providing a crucial transportation network for the region. (ANI)
