New Delhi [India], June 3 (ANI): Amid opposition parties rasiing questions on exit polls that have predicted the BJP-led NDA to the third term, Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva said on Monday that if the opposition is raising questions, it means they are questioning the independence of media.
“The nation wants to see PM Modi as the Prime Minister for the third time. Every worker of the BJP is ready for the counting of votes. If the opposition is raising question marks on exit polls, it means they are questioning the independence of the media. The public of the nation has blessed PM Modi,” Sachdeva said.
Further, the Delhi BJP chief mentioned that a counting centre workshop will be called of all Lok Sabha agents ahead of the counting day.
“We have called a meeting of all Lok Sabha agents. In this workshop, proper training will be given to agents regarding the counting process. Tomorrow, we will be winning all the seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi,” he said.
Meanwhile, various opposition leaders have put questions on exit poll predictions regarding the Lok Sabha elections.
Tamil Nadu minister and DMK leader Mano Thangaraj asserted that the BJP manipulates each and everything and called the exit polls a manipulation done by Modi media groups.
Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister and Congress leader DK Shivakumar said that the exit polls would go wrong like they did during the state assembly elections last year.
Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut on Sunday called it a “corporate game” and said that the INDIA Alliance is going to form the government by winning 295-310 seats.
Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said on Sunday termed it as a “Psychological game” and said that there will be a huge difference in exit polls and results on June 4.
If the exit poll predictions come true on June 4 when votes are counted, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will become the only PM after Jawaharlal Nehru to win three successive terms in Lok Sabha polls. The exit polls predicted ‘Modi 3.0’ with PM Modi having led the BJP’s poll effort through rallies and roadshows in various parts of the country. (ANI)
