Agartala (Tripura) [India], June 2 (ANI): Tripura BJP president Rajib Bhattacharjee expressed confidence in the National Democratic Alliance government coming to power and Prime Minister Narendra Modi becoming PM for the third consecutive time and said he wants to congratulate everyone in advance.
BhattacharJee’s statement came as most exit polls predicted a landslide victory for the NDA.
“Our leader our PM Narendra Modi ji has declared a slogan of “400 paar”. This slogan will be true. NDA government will surely cross 400 seats. We fought in an election with this motto and we were very excited too. And the predictions which are coming today, some are showing 350 some are showing 370, and according to me by 4th June it will surely cross 400. In advance, I want to congratulate all workers of BJP workers and all BJP workers including all the voters. To make Narendra Modi our PM again I want to congratulate everyone in advance,” said Rajib Bhattacharjee.
“Target must be great and Modiji has kept out Target of 400. Modi is not thinking about today he is thinking about the growth in 2047. He is always thinking about the youth, workers, and students. Modiji is saying this is a trailer only, if this much work is a trailer then we are amazed about thinking about the whole film. Final film is waiting,” added Rajib Bhattacharjee.
Ahead of this, former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Raman Singh said that the country will now move on the path of Sanatan which will set the stage for India to emerge as the third-largest power in the world.
Slamming the opposition INDIA bloc, Union Minister Giriraj Singh said that people have recognized the real face of the opposition and have accepted Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The voting for the 543-member Lok Sabha was held simultaneously with the Assembly elections in Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Odisha and Andhra Pradesh. While the long drawn-out voting process spread over seven phases concluded on Saturday, the counting of votes is scheduled for June 4.
The BJP-led National Democratic Alliance is poised for a hat-trick win in Lok Sabha polls with a massive majority, exit polls predicted on Saturday and indicated that the ruling party at the Centre would improve its performance in several states ruled by other parties.
A few exit polls predicted that the BJP-led NDA could reach the goal of “400 paar” stated by BJP leaders in the run-up to the Lok Sabha polls. The exit polls predicted that the ruling BJP-led NDA is poised to improve its performance over its 2019 record when it won 352 seats.
Two polls predicted the BJP also improving its numbers from the 303 seats it won in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls. The Narendra Modi-led BJP is seeking a third term in power, while the opposition INDIA bloc is aiming to wrest power by stopping the juggernaut. (ANI)
