New Delhi [India], May 31 (ANI): A fire broke out in a gas pipeline outside a house at Paryavaran Complex in South Delhi’s Saket, police said on Friday.
The fire broke out at 1:40 a.m. on Friday, police said.
Police staff reached the spot after receiving the information and found the fire in the IGL gas pipeline outside the house, police said. Two fire tenders were deployed at the site and brought the blaze under control.
A team from IGL also visited the scene and managed the pipelines, as per the police.
“The cause of the fire appears to be a technical issue in the gas pipeline. No casualties were reported as the situation was handled within 20 minutes,” Delhi police said.
A video of the fire, confirmed by Delhi police, was widely shared on social media. (ANI)
