Guna (Madhya Pradesh) [India], June 11 (ANI): Three persons were booked for allegedly assaulting a youth in Madhya Pradesh’s Guna district, an official said.
According to the First Information Report (FIR), the incident occurred at Ragistrar office, Guna here at around 9 pm on June 9.
Cantt Guna police station in charge Dilip Rajoriya told ANI, “A complainant Abhishek Jain (24) has filed a complaint at the police station in connection with an assault. Acting on it, we have registered an FIR against three persons Gaurav Jain, Rohan Chaudhary and Rakesh Chaudhary.”
The complainant told the police that the said three accused had assaulted him. One of the accused is said to be posted in the Excise Department though the matter is under investigation, the officer said.
Besides, the FIR copy read, “Around 9 pm on June 9, Abhishek Jain’s friend Karan Singh Sisodia told him that one of the accused Rohan Chaudhary called him and wanted to talk to Abhishek. Then Abhishek along with his friends Naman Raghuvanshi and Karan Singh Sisodia reached the registrar’s office in Guna to meet Rohan Chaudhary.”
“They met with the accused Gaurav Jain, Rohan Chaudhary, Rakesh Chaudhary at the registrar office. The accused asked them who Abhishek Jain was. As soon as the complaint marked his presence, all the three accused started abusing him. When he asked them not to abuse, the accused started assaulting him due to which he received several injuries,” the FIR added.
The case was registered against all the three accused under IPC section 294 (Obscene acts and songs), 323 (Punishment for voluntarily causing hurt), 506 (Punishment for criminal intimidation) and 34 (Acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention), it further read.
According to the information, Gaurav Jain is posted in the exercise department, Guna as a sub-inspector. (ANI)
