Some Love Island viewers and Maura Higgins have a major disagreement over her relationship with Curtis Pritchard.
Surprisingly, we’re not talking about him constantly calling her “young lady” as a chat-up line or keeping his socks on while they’re Doings Bits. We’re not even talking about when he made lots of viewers lose their tea by calling her a “dirty girl” in bed.
The latest trouble arose during Monday’s episode when the Islanders found out what the public had been saying about them in a game called ‘The Sidebar of Shame’.
In the game, Islanders had to guess each other’s names in real media headlines, with one particular article about Curtis majorly ticking off Maura.
The headline read: “Curtis’s relationship with Maura is staged and fake say Love Island viewers, after she falls for his ‘manly’ charms.”
Curtis laughed off the insult in the moment, but it was still bothering his coupling partner Maura once they got back to the villa.

“I still don’t get the one about me and Curtis?” she complained to the ladies. “He is manly… He doesn’t f**kin’ shave his legs!”
Over in the Beach Hut, Curtis insisted: “To be fair, I’m not bothered… I am who I am. Maura thinks I’m manly and that’s all that matters.”
Yet, he then went around the villa asking Tommy, India, Amber and Anna if they thought he was “manly” within the span of 60 seconds.
When nobody gave him an answer, he snickered: “Does no-one think I’m manly? Because this is really getting to me now!”
Viewers started to wonder if Curtis was as unbothered by the game as he claimed:
As far as we’re concerned, Curtis has nothing to prove to anyone. Except for when it comes to wearing socks to bed — stop that, please!
Love Island airs at 9pm on ITV2, and you can catch up on the show via ITV Hub.
