USDA issues recall for H-E-B chicken product shipped to Texas stores – KXAN.com

TEXAS (KXAN) — The U.S.D.A. issued a recall for 2,100 pounds of chicken products for incorrect labeling and undeclared allergens on Saturday.

The department has recalled the products from Taylor Farms, a company out of Dallas, because labels that are supposed to be ready-to-eat “HEB Roasted Spaghetti Squash with Alfredo and Chicken” are labeled as “Chile Relleno.” The products also contain wheat, which is a known allergen, and is not listed on the product’s label.

The 10-ounce packages with these labels and the following “use-by” dates should be thrown out:

  • 02/04/2019
  • 02/05/2019
  • 02/07/2019
  • 02/08/2019
  • 02/09/2019

You should also look for these lot codes:

  • TFD025AU4
  • TFD026AU4
  • TFD028AU4
  • TFD029AU4
  • TFD030AU4

Packages with these food items were shipped to stores across Texas.
