Uganda: Bobi Wine vows to keep fighting despite recent arrest

Uganda’s opposition politician Bobi Wine has told Al Jazeera that he is willing to sit down with President Yoweri Museveni to discuss challenges facing the country.

The popular musician-turned-politician was released after three days in custody for taking part in what the authorities called “unlawful protests” against a social media tax.

Bobi Wine has support among young Ugandans, many of whom are poor, frustrated and have struggled to find jobs.

  2. Hello! This is kind of off topic but I need some advice from an established blog. Is it very difficult to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick. I’m thinking about making my own but I’m not sure where to begin. Do you have any tips or suggestions? Thanks
