Taylor Swift took centre stage as she headlined Capital FM’s Jingle Bell Ball at The O2 Arena in London on Sunday evening.

The singer – who will turn 30 next Friday – celebrated her milestone birthday early as she performed a medley of her chart-topping hits at the famous venue in her boyfriend Joe Alwyn’s home city.

In her true fashion, the Shake It Off hitmaker commanded attention as she slipped into a chic white playsuit, which highlighted her incredibly lean legs.

The songstress accentuated her slender frame with a braided waistbelt, while her flirty ensemble featured puffball sleeves and a knitted choker.

Amping up the glamour, Pennsylvania native Taylor captivated the audience by strutting across the stage in quirky thigh-high stiletto boots.

The Love Story singer styled her fringed tresses into loose waves, while she added a pop of colour to her one-tone look with a slick of her classic red lipstick.

Ahead of her performance, the media personality was surprised with cake and balloons backstage at the arena. The blonde beauty said she felt like she was ‘on the brink’ of knowing herself and that she wasn’t scared of turning 30.

She told Capital FM host Jimmy Hill: ‘Thank you – you’ve made me feel so special and you’re the first people to celebrate my birthday. People are saying that 30 and the 30s are the time.

‘It’s the time. Because you know yourself. Do you know what I mean? Yeah, I definitely feel that. I feel I’m on the brink of that for sure.’  

The Cats star performed older tracks such as 22 and an acoustic version of We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together against a shifting backdrop of a night sky.

Making a statement: The musician, 27, raised the roof as they told the crowd: ‘Right now I want to turn this room into the biggest gay bar in the world… are you ready to get gay with me?’

Taylor also drew from her recent seventh record Lover, playing songs including Me! and London Boy, which fans have speculated is about her boyfriend, British actor Joe.

‘It’s really no secret how much I love London,’ she said before asking the crowd: ‘Would it be alright if we played a song called London Boy?’

Screen star Joe, 28, did not appear to be present at the concert, and the Fearless singer closed the two-night event, which was headlined by Stormzy and Harry Styles on Saturday, with her dance-hit Shake It Off.

Anne-Marie opened the show with a salvo of hits including Rockabye, her collaboration with Clean Bandit and Sean Paul. Rapper AJ Tracey performed a high-intensity rendition of his track Ladbroke Grove. The evening also saw performances from Mabel, The Script and Sam Smith.

The Came Here For Love hitmaker, 25, stunned in a slinky black and red wrap dress as she posed up a storm on the star-studded red carpet. 

The sizzling number displayed plenty of the star’s décolletage, while the thigh-skimming hemline allowed her to flaunt her toned pins. Allowing her dress to do all the talking, Ella added a simple pair of black heels to her ensemble.

Ella recently promoted her new single Mama, admitting in a new interview this week with the Evening Standard that it has taken her time to overcome the writer’s block she suffered following the death of her father in 2017. 

Ella, who grew up in London, travelled to Jamaica where her father lived all his life explaining that the trip helped her deal with her grief.

‘My dad died and it sort of threw me a little bit and I took a step back,’ she said. ‘I went from being really unconfident and anxious to going to Jamaica and dealing with some demons and I came back feeling like a whole new person. 

‘The only project I’m really focused on now is my solo album and getting that going again. There’s more music planned … there’s a lot going on behind the scenes.’

Ensuring all eyes were on her, she offset her white ensemble with bright green hair, finishing her look with shimmering make-up.
